As the Samsung Q1 will be used extensively 'on the road' (thus replacing larger laptops) I decided to down size some of the peripherals as well. First on the list is a mouse, and as the Trust Notebook Kit includes an incredibly small optical rodent complete with retractable USB cable I chose that one for the job. |

| Although the Q1 uses a stylus on the touch screen,
or the nipple tool on the keyboard, it is always easier to use a mouse,
especially if you're used to one. I think so anyway.
The other three items in this kit include a USB powered LED work light, A retractable ear/mic lead, and a WiFi hot spot finder. This last item will probably get left at home and my Freecom DVB-T USB Stick will fill it's allocated recess. The LED light is extremely bright and will get used occasionally. The earphone and mic lead is redundant as far as the Q1 is concerned though, there is no socket to allow the use of an external microphone (if you need an alternative mic then a bluetooth headset is the answer). |
