The Filt is a polar fleece blanket designed to
offer comfortable and damp-free seating for picnics
whether on the beach, at the riverside or in your
own garden.
The polyester underside is water repellent and
can be easily cleaned after use. The topside is
made from a very comfortable and warm polar fleece.
We used the Filt instead of the usual beach blanket
for two weeks and found it to be far superior.
Our test Filt was covered in sand many times yet
the sand failed to find it's way between the two
layers of material and simply fell off as the blanket
was rolled up. Our experiences with an ordinary
car rug were that the sand remained in-between the
weave.
The Filt comes complete with it's own harness or
carrying strap which keeps the blanket nicely rolled
up ready for the next use and also makes it very easy
to carry from car to picnic site.
Our walk to the beach was very nearly 800 metres so
the carry strap was very welcome.
The blanket is a large 2m x 1.5m and easily seats
four adults or two sunbathers.
